Today is World Encephalitis Day. 🧠
Something that many of you may not know as part of my journey, is that afew years ago, i was diagnosed with Focal Encephalitis which is an inflammation of the brain.i left it all behind me till I was asked to share this story of mine in public when i performed on Britains got Talent in 2013. Since then i was honoured to be asked to be an ambassador to the Encephalitis Society. I now share my story to raise awareness of this devastating illness as many in the world have no idea regarding Encephalitis.
Encephalitis comes from the Greek word εγκέφαλος, which means brain in English.
So would love if you wanted to raise awareness with me today by wearing something red and posting on your social media with hashtag #WED

I am sure every human has his own story and journey to tell, and sometimes we need to speak out loud to help others and their families that may be going through a similar situation.

Thank you to you all for being a part of my journey. Since then i have gone on to follow my dreams, keep chasing my dream, marry my childhood sweetheart and have two beautiful boys.

I wanted to share something today on a personal note. After my performance with Andrea Bocelli, you may have noticed I haven’t been releasing any new music the last couple of months or performing as usual with live concerts around the globe, as often I as would love to. Had to find a different balance for a while, due to a personal issue that affected my voice. So my voice wasn’t present for me every day. I had to be patient and adjust my expectations for a while which was kind of an emotional roller coster 😜

Amongst others as all mothers i am sure will understand 😇in the cold months of winter both my boys have had a bad cold on and off which has also taken a toll on my voice too.

Life is a journey and dreams and goals sometimes need to take a different path or may be delayed at times, but I am certain that there is a reason for everything. A reason to be empowered and rediscover things or discover the new.

Looking forward to sharing my new collaborations that i have in the pipeline with new friends that i was blessed enough to make from around the world, that I hope you will love.
